MARS STOUT 's Tourism Services Division contracts with TRAVEL MONTANA to answer telephone, email and mail requests for travel information related to all corners of wild and scenic Montana. Travel counselors have access to an extensive database of travel opportunities in Montana, including all types of lodging, campgrounds, guided recreational services, events, recreational activities and travel services. Travel counselors receive in-depth, ongoing training in customer service skills, persuasive travel counseling, and knowledge of all aspects of Montana, allowing them to effectively meet the needs and expectations of interested parties. Our approach to travel counseling skill development allows our staff to increase the conversion of 'potential' visitors into 'scheduled' visitors, while finding more activities for our visitors to do while they are here, thus extending the stay of our guests. Through our numerous databases and software applications, MARS STOUT Travel Counselors provide inquirers with specialized information by email, fax and regular mail.
